This is NOT an application. It is only a request for an application form for the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program.
A prospective student can apply for the DMD program in AUMS for the academic year 2023-2024 as a:
Local Student: Any student that has graduated from a recognized secondary school or institute in Kuwait.
International Student: Any student who has graduated from a recognized secondary school outside of Kuwait.
The minimum overall score for secondary school result must be 80% (For Self-Funding student).
For PUC Internal Scholarship, The student must meet the minimum GPA of secondary high-school certificate as determined by the PUC in addition to the conditions of the private educational institution.
The minimum combined score in the science subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology must be 80%.
The minimum score of English proficiency tests for IELTS Academic test 5.5 or equivalent score for other international accredited academic English proficiency tests (TOEFL iBT, iTEP, AUMS Test Center, etc.).
Due to the high demand and limited number of seats available, only candidates with the highest scores will be contacted for final application during July 2023 to continue onto their application process.
Early requests are available only for candidates with a high school certificate from international curriculum schools (British, American, etc.) where applicants can send their first semester grades and inform the admission department by the date of their second (final) semester grades submission.
AUMS has introduced a scholarship program for self-funded students that provide a certain discount in annual tuition. (As of this posted date, tuition and fees are pending approval from private university council- Kuwait).
Candidates sponsored by PUC Internal Scholarships or third-party entities will be subject to discretional tuition fees as per the contractual agreement with AUMS.
Bank guarantee for the first two years may be requested for the self-funding student.
Non-refundable fees, such as the application fee, admission and placement exam fees will be established later.
The following original documents must be prepared for the final application:
Official secondary school certificate /transcripts certified by Kuwait Ministry of Education.
Equivalency certificate from the Kuwait ministry of education for foreign high school certificate and for high school certificate issued from a school outside Kuwait.
A valid passport copy with valid residence.
A valid Kuwait Civil ID.
Recent colored photograph size (3×4).
For international students: official secondary school certificate/transcripts certified from the country of origin by the authorized educational authority, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kuwait Embassy.
A valid certificate of an English language proficiency test.
